Hey everyone,

So I have been talking about writing a letter to Oprah for some time now and I finally did it. I sent the email to the producers. This meeting is really important to me so I hope I get to do it with her help. Here it is:

“I know this is very late considering this is the last season. I recently have published my first solo poetry book, “My Journey through Poetry: a teenage catharsis”. It is a book to motivate young people (or just anyone) to love and accept themselves, be who they are and be proud of the journey they take to find themselves and their place in the world. One of the biggest motivations I had in putting together this book/writing poetry was hearing Haley, from a Nov 1999 show, read her poem “Invisible”. I copied it, printed it and kept it with me throughout working on the book. I would love to talk to her and tell her how she inspired me and motivated me to go through with the book.I would also like to give her a signed copy. However if it can’t be done on the show I was wondering if you can help me get in contact with her, meet her and tell her how she inspired me.
