I am back from another night at Abigail’s. This time the crowd was smaller and as a result I shortened my set from 6 to 3 poems. I got to debut another poem from MJTP called “Hiding”. I read a new poem, whose ink is still not dry, which is tentatively entitled “The Seed”. I [...]

I changed my set a few times to flow with the vibe of the night. I decided to perform two poems from My Journey through poetry — Broken Angel– , the full poem excerpted in MJTP , “I am you” , and one from upcoming manuscripts, azucar. I got great response from the other performers about them so I am definitely gonna continue shopping around the mic scene and go forward with the book release.
