Día de los Muertos 2011

Although I don’t celebrate Halloween, I love celebrating Día de los Muertos! Tonight I will be with Coalition for Latino/a Scholars and the Chicano Caucus honoring those that have passed on… I am so excited to read “Bristle Blessings” as a “calaverita” to honor one of my great teachers as she passed away this summer! “Bristle Blessings” will be featured in one of my next projects, “Ode to My Penmakers”. Be on the Look out for that!

Te amo pa siempre Mrs. Ella!

Humbly in Reverence,
Simone Nikkole
